Pastor Bailey leads the Pastoral Care/Outreach ministry of the church and ministers to the congregation of Union Grove Baptist Church in many other ways.
T.W. Bailey grew up in the small town of Stoneville, NC. After receiving Christ as his personal Savior at the age of 22, he felt the call of God on his life. He attended Piedmont Bible College and earned a ThB in Theology with a Youth Minor. At Piedmont, Pastor Bailey not only found God's will for his life but he also found his wife, Michele. He was called to Union Grove Baptist Church in 1990 to train under the Youth Pastor on staff at that time. After training for six months, Pastor Bailey was called as the new Youth Pastor and served in that capacity for 13 years. Pastor Harris asked Bro. Bailey to become the Assistant Pastor in 2003 and later promoted him to Associate Pastor. The Lord blessed T.W. and Michele with twin sons, Joshua and Joseph, while serving at Union Grove. Joshua is marred to Rebecca.
Bob and his family joined Union Grove Baptist Church in the fall of 1999 where he served in various ministries including the adult choir and leading a teen choir. When the position of Music Director opened in August, 2004, Bob graciously accepted the tentative position which shortly thereafter became permanent.
Isaiah, a graduate of Union Grove Christian School ('17), has been attending Union Grove nearly his entire life. He's helped in various capacities with the media team for several years and began temporarily overseeing the team in June 2019, and permanently in November 2020.

Harold Fletcher was born and raised in Winston-Salem area of North Carolina. He graduated from Mineral Springs High School in Winston-Salem, NC in 1953. Harold accepted Christ as his savior at the age of 22 while attending the Hollow Road Baptist Church in Walkertown, NC.
Soon after Pastor Fletcher was saved in 1956, he surrendered to the call to preach the Gospel. Immediately doors began to open for him to do so. Pastor Fletcher took night school classes at Piedmont Bible College. He completed about 33 hours of these classes during the early years of his pastorate. He is a remarkable man who loves the Lord and has a great knowledge of the Word of God through personal study of God’s Word. In recognition of his love of the Lord and God’s Word, Pastor Fletcher was awarded an Honorary Doctor of Divinity by Dr. Mark Cambron. When Pastor Fletcher celebrated his 25th Anniversary as pastor of Union Grove Baptist Church, he was awarded an Honorary Doctor of Divinity from Tabernacle Baptist Bible College, in Greenville, South Carolina. Trinity Baptist College in Jacksonville, Florida awarded Pastor Fletcher with an Honorary Doctor of Divinity in recognition of his 50th year in ministry.
Pastor Fletcher was ordained when he was called to serve as the pastor of Union Grove Baptist Church in 1963. He served thirty-eight years with dedication and distinction as our pastor and has since served as our pastor emeritus.
During his pastorate, the church grew significantly in number, ministries and outreach, including a Christian school. The church also built four two-story buildings, a home for missionaries to live in on a yearly basis and a parsonage, during his pastorate.
One of Pastor Fletcher’s passions through his ministry has been taking Christ to the nations. He has greatly advanced the cause of missions by leading Union Grove to have an extensive missionary program, through numerous personal trips overseas to encourage missionaries and to preach, and through his service as part of the governing council of Baptist Mid-Missions since 1982. During his service with Baptist Mid-Missions, he has served in several leadership capacities including Chairman of the Governing Council of BMM and on the Administrative Council. He currently serves as Council Member Emeritus and on the Board of Directors of the Baptist Mid-Missions Foundation.
Pastor Fletcher was also instrumental in the organization of the Winston-Salem Rescue Mission in 1967 and has served throughout the last 47 years on the governing board as a member and officer. He just recently served on the search committee that selected the third executive director in the history of the Winston Salem Rescue Mission.
Soon after retiring from Union Grove, Pastor Fletcher served two and a half years as the first pastor of a church plant in Siler City, North Carolina while maintaining his relationship with Union Grove as Pastor Emeritus. Faith Baptist Church of Siler City is a viable church today due to his leadership.
Since retiring as our Senior Pastor and turning the church in Siler City over to another pastor, Pastor Fletcher has maintained an active preaching schedule that keeps him very busy. Pastor Fletcher has helped many churches as a guest preacher, revival preacher, and missions conference speaker.
Pastor Fletcher has been married to Barbara Kiger Fletcher for 57 years. They have four children; Ray (Patty), Anthony, Sherri (Rick), and Stephanie (Mark). They have 6 grandchildren and 4 great-children. All of their children and their families are actively serving the Lord.
Since Ken Harris has served as the Senior Pastor of Union Grove, Pastor Fletcher has been one of his greatest encouragers. Due to the mutual love and respect they have for each other, as well as for the UGBC family, God has allowed us to successfully make the transition and maintain a good relationship throughout these years. God has richly blessed this church during Pastor Harris’ pastorate and he gives much credit to Pastor Fletcher for his previous ministry and continual support.
